With Thermal spring water from Baden-Baden. Thermal spring water from Baden-Baden qualifies as healing water in accordance with the 2005 edition of "Definitions – quality standards for the classification of health resorts, resort towns and curative sources" published by the German Spa Association and the German Tourism Association. The water is used therapeutically in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems. The spring is located 300 m north-east of the centre of Baden-Baden. It is classified as a thermal spring because its source temperature is 65°C. This thermal spring water is naturally rich in important minerals and trace elements (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, silicic acid (silicon), chlorides and fluorides). It supports the natural metabolism and health of the skin.

Without mineral oils. Mineral oils are odorless and purified oils which have been used in cosmetics for many years due to the fact that they seldom cause allergies or skin irritations. While plant oils are similar to the natural lipids of skin and therefore penetrate into the upper layer of skin, mineral oils remain on skin’s surface where they develop their protective effect. Sans Soucis does not use any mineral oils in their products. 

Without parabens. Parabens are preservatives have been used in cosmetics for many years and efficiently protect them against germs. However, they are suspected to cause allergies. Principally, parabens are listed as ingredients in cosmetics on the positive list, meaning that their utilization is allowed.  Sensitive skin may, however, react with intolerances. Additional critical factor: The structure of parabens is very similar to the female sexual hormone estrogen, they are absorbed via the skin and are suspected to trouble the hormonal balance. Sans Soucis does not use any parabens in their products. 

Without microplastics. Microplastic are small plastic particles with a diameter of less than 5mm. Their use in skin creams, peelings, shower gels and shampoos pose risks to the environment and water. Sans Soucis does not use microplastic particles in its products. Sans Soucis dispenses with the use of microplastic in its products.

Without animal ingredients. All ingredients used in this product are of either natural or synthetic resp. biotechnological  origin.  This statement is important for persons who live vegan and who follow this philosophy not only regarding their nutrition but also in their entire life.  When selecting alternative ingredients we take care that synthetic or biotechnological substances were not subject to any animal testing by the manufacturers.   SANS SOUCIS does not participate in animal testing, nor do we support animal testing.

With UV-Protection. The use of products with a sun protection filter is one of the most important measures against premature skin aging – 365 days a year. UV radiation is also there when the sky is cloudy or when it rains. Components of products with a light protection are filter substances which act similar to a protective shield between our skin and sun. We distinguish between chemical and physical light protection filters. Chemical light protection filters are UV filters which act within skin. There, they absorb the UV rays from the sun.  A physical, also called mineral, light protection filter always contains light-refracting minerals. They reflect the UV rays reaching the skin so that they are not able to penetrate into skin. Ideal for children and sensitive skin. However, light-protection filters offer no absolute protection during excessive sun bathing.
